Two min Maggi noodles may be back in the stores, but the country's food panel wants a ban on it again.

They filed an appeal in the Supreme Court against lifting the ban orders of the Mumbai High Court.

FSSAI has not asked for an immediate stay of the High Court order, but they explained the difficulties faced by them after the order.

FSSAI had banned Maggi in June based on allegations that it contains excessive quantities of lead which is unsafe for consumption.

The Mumbai High Court revoked the ban on Maggi in October, but FSSAI is again trying to ban the product.
