Video Wallpaper - You can also use your video as your wallpaper. To do so, go to Tools > Preference> click on Video and select DirectX (DirectDraw) video output> Save And Restart VLC> Play Video again> Right click on Video to play and Set as Wallpaper.
Download Subtitles for video - Your VLC lets you search and download the subtitles for your video. To do so, go to View> Download subtitles or VLSub > Click on Search by hash or Search by name> Select subtitles and click on Download selection.
Record Your Desktop - For recording your desktop go to Media> click Open Capture Device> Click Capture Mode> Select Desktop>Modify the frame rate 15 f/s> Click the arrow next to Play and select Convert> Choose your destination and start recording.
Download YouTube Videos - Your VLC also lets you download YouTube videos. Go to head to Media > Open Network Stream. Paste the YouTube link and play> Tools, click Codec Information> Right-click the block of text> Copy the text> paste the link on your browser>Right-click the video and save Video as.
Record Your Webcam - To record video from your webcam click Open Capture Device under Menu> select DirectShow> choose your webcam and Microphone for Video and Audio device name> Enter Video input frame rate 30 under Advance option and Click Okay.
