Qandeel Baloch Killed By Her Brother, Becoming Yet Another Victim of 'Honour Killing'

Social media celebrity from Pakistan, Qandeel Baloch was allegedly killed by her own brother in Multan on Friday night, becoming the victim of yet another 'honour killing'.

She rose to fame with her popularity stunt during the T-20 World Cup, promising to strip and dance for Pakistan Cricket captain Shahid Afridi.

She was killed in the central district of Multan, by her brother named Wasim. After the incident police told the media that "She was suffocated to death by strangulation. It seems to be a case of honour killing but we are investigating it".

They also said that, she was receiving threats from her brother over her Facebook posts and videos.

Police added that she was in Multan for one week to visit her parents and that forensic experts are examining the corpse to prepare a medical report.
