Remember Kachra From Lagaan? Here's What He is Up To These Days

Aamir Khan starrer 'Lagaan' is one of the best films in the history of Bollywood which was directed by Ashutosh Gowariker and Aamir Khan, who was also the producer. It was so good that even after 16 years of its release, we still can't get over with that amazing and epic cricket match between villagers and British officers.

In that match, there was a spinner in the Villager's team called Kachra. He was the main key player for Bhuvan (Aamir Khan), who helped him win that match. This role was played by Aditya Lakhai, but what he is up to these days? Let's find out!

He made his acting debut in 1988 with a small role in the movie 'Om-Dar-Ba-Dar' and also appeared in the Aamir Khan movie 'Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar'.

He also worked as an assistant director for 'Akele Hum Akele Tum' under the guidance of director Ashutosh Gowariker. This helped him bag the role of Kachra in Ashutosh Gowariker's film 'Lagaan' and became one of his most memorable performances.

After this film, he appeared in movies like 'Kuchh Meetha Ho Jaye', 'Ek Ajnabee', 'Shootout at Lokhandwala', 'Shaurya', 'Mission Istaanbul' and much more.

He did his last film in 2010, 'Riwayat' after which he disappeared from Bollywood and went on to try his luck on the small screen.

On the small screen, he was seen in TV shows like 'Chotti Bahu Season 2' and 'Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo'. No doubt, he is a brilliant actor and we want to see him back on the big screen.
