Do you remember this child actor Ulka Gupta, who got famous after playing the young ‘Manu’ in Zee TV show ‘Jhansi Ki Rani’ at the age of 11? Well, the actress is now 19-years old and is all grown up.
The young 'Manu' has now grown into a beautiful girl and we can't stop praising her for her looks.
She made her TV debut as a child actor, at the age of 7 with the show ‘Resham Dank', and then she got 'Saat Phere', in which she played Savri, Saloni’s daughter.
After which she appeared in the role of 'Manu' in Jhansi Ki Rani. For this show, she underwent training for horse riding and sword fighting for two months. She worked really hard for this role and also learnt Sanskrit to deliver shlokas.
She was in the news recently, for sharing the diffculties she had to face becasue of her skin color. She faced racism at the age of 7 after her TV show 'Resham Dank' went off-air. She gave many auditions but got rejected due to her complexion.
But, she didn't let any of this impact her negatively and she kept trying for roles. As a result, today she is doing movies in the South Indian film industry.
She has appeared in a Tollywood movie called 'Andhra Pori' as Prashanti and now is all set to appear in a Marathi movie, 'Odh - The Attraction'.
