It was the third highest grossing movie of the year 1999, directed by Subhash Ghai and also won several awards.

Specially, tracks like Taal Se Taal and Ishq Bina that we still love. It had a very soulful music composed by the legend A. R. Rahman with lyrics penned by Anand Bakshi.

The entire movie was a musical romantic drama that swept almost all the music awards that year and the credit goes to A.R. Rahman.
Even the director Subhash Ghai gave him the credit for the name in a press conference and said "Rahman kept me awake many nights, but after listening to the songs, I felt it was worth all the trouble".
