Recently at The India Today Conclave, Sanjay Dutt, talked about his jail term & made some revelations about his time in jail. He said "My day in jail used to start at 6. I used to crib, cry & think about my family and kids".

"Because everybody thought I was given special treatment, they treated me worse than any other convict. I felt I was back in the British days with the British rule."

"I was in solitary confinement. I was in that one yard all alone. I ate the given 'chane ki daal' for a whole year".

"I was given something called 'rajgira' to eat, which was not at all edible. When I asked who eats that, they said even donkeys don't eat it".
