When she was asked about the reason behind her quit, she said "They were asking me to play mother to a 20-year-old when I am currently in my early 20's."
Although, according to a report in Tellychakkar, she told the media that "I did give an audition for the role, but have received no confirmation as yet. So, I can’t really comment much on this."
On the other hand it is said that the show 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' will take a five-year leap and we just have to wait for the final confirmation from the makers.
