These days divorce has become quite common in the Bollywood industry. We have all seen quite a few shocking separations even after many years of marriage specially in the last few years. But, there are some Bollywood actresses who happily took up the responsibility of being a mother (step) despite of the age difference.
Sridevi (Born in 1963) married Boney Kapoor in 1996, together they have two daughters Jhanvi and Khushi. It is said that Boney Kapoor was already married to Mona Shourie Kapoor when they fell in love, with whom he has a son named Arjun Kapoor (Born in 1985), who is 22 years younger than Sridevi.
Helen (Born in 1938) married Salim Khan, the very famous screenplay writer in 1981. Inspite of being the second wife, she was loved by all his children, especially by Salman Khan (Born in 1965) who is 33 years younger than her.
Sara Ali Khan (Born in 1993) is the daughter of Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan and his first wife Amrita Singh. They got divorced in 2004 and later in 2012 he tied the knot with Kareena Kapoor (Born in 1980). You may be surprised to know this, but, she is just 13 years elder than her step-daughter Sara.
Hema Malini (Born in 1948), who is the second wife of Bollywood actor Dharmendra is just 8 years older than Sunny Deol (Born in 1957) and we must say she is playing the role of a stepmother very beautifully.
The former Indian actress Manyata Dutt (Born in 1979) is the third wife of Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt. They got married in 2008 and are blessed with twins. She is just 8 years elder than his daughter Trishala Dutt (Born in 1988).
Director Mahesh Bhatt got married a second time in 1986 with actress Soni Razdan (Born in 1956). She is just 16 years elder than his eldest daughter Pooja Bhatt (Born in 1972), who was just of 14 years when they got married.
