There is no doubt that Aamir Khan starrer 'Dangal' was a briliiant movie. This film was based on the life of an Indian wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat and his daughters. It became one of the highest grossing Indian films of all time and we totally loved it.
But there were a few flaws in the movie which missed our eyes or we can say they were factually incorrect. So, go ahead and see if you noticed these or not.
In the movie, it was shown that after losing all her international matches in continuation, Geeta Phogat gets her hair cut very short just before she takes off for the Delhi Commonwealth Games.
But, apparently our real life Geeta Phogat never had such short hair. If you google her pictures, you will not be able to find even one picture of her's with short hair.
In the movie, it was also shown that Geeta wins a Gold medal after beating an Australian wrestler by 3-0, 4-6, 6-5.
But, is it really true?
If you look at the video at the end of this article, you will soon find out that she won the match by 1-0, 7-0.
Note: This movie is outstanding and small mistakes like these do not really make a difference.
There is still no doubt that makers and all the artists did justice to the movie. But, when it happens to be an Aamir Khan movie, who is our Mr. Perfectionist, you expect it to be completely flawless.
While again in the final scene, it was shown that Geeta was struggling to find her father in the audience right after winning the Gold. But, when you see the original video (below) you will find that she was obviously very happy after winning the match and there was no sign of any stress.
